A fire appliance from Penzance Community Fire Station was mobilised to a car on fire in a field.
On arrival the crew found the car to be well alight and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereels extinguished the fire.
The fire is believed to be arson at this time and incident has been left with the police.
