An appliance from Helston and a further one from Penzance attended a call to a fire in a property at midday today. On arrival the crew confirmed that there was a fire in the kitchen of a bungalow. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. One dog was also rescued from the property.
