A Presentation will take place at Vospers of Truro, Treliske Industrial Estate, on Monday January 23, 2006 at 2.30pm.



One Truro lady will receive a late Christmas present when she picks up the keys to a new Ford Ka won in a prize draw organised by the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund in Cornwall.

Mrs Roz Fairfoot, an employee of Sainsbury’s supermarket, was given the good news shortly before Christmas, following which she was asked to select a car in the colour of her choice. Draw promoter and FSNBF volunteer Dave Pilling will present Mrs Fairfoot with her new silver Ka, supplied by Vospers of Truro at a ceremony next week.

The draw raised a total of over £10,000 for the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund. Proceeds will boost the Phoenix Appeal to build a therapy wing at the charity’s centre at Harcombe House in South Devon, enabling both serving and retired fire service personnel and their families to receive intensive treatment and rehabilitation following illness or injury.
