Liquid Spill From Jack-knifed Lorry

A38, Bodmin Parkway, Bodmin at 26/01/2006 08:13

One appliance and the Environmental Support Vehicle from Bodmin attended a report of liquid foodstuffs leaking from a jack-knifed lorry. The spillage was contained in a roadside interceptor and by firefighters using absorbent mats, an overdrum and other ancillary equipment. This prevented pollution to the nearby River Fowey. The incident was then left in care of the Environment Agency, Highways Agency and police.
