At 1534 the Critical Control Centre received a call to state that there was a fire at an Imerys site in the China Clay Works. Crews from St Austell, Saltash and Launceston were mobilised along with two officers. Once on scene crews confirmed there was a fire and were using two hose real jets to extinguish the fire. At 1816 crews have begun to leave the scene. Crews will remain on scene for 30 minutes to monitor the scene.
