At 12:45, the Critical Control Centre received numerous 999 calls informing them of a car on fire on the A30 between Hayle and Camborne.
Two appliances from Hayle and Tolvaddon were mobilised. Crews used breathing apparatus and hosereel jets to extinguish the blaze. Crews then ensured the vehicle was safe before leaving the scene in the hands of Devon and Cornwall Police.
