After receiving several 999 calls at 01:28, the Critical Control Centre mobilised 3 appliances from St Austell and St Dennis as well as a wholetime officer for support.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used hosereel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire in the garage, which measured approximately 6 metres by 6 metres.
The fire is now fully extinguished and a fire investigation will take police today to establish the cause of the fire.
