Fire In Industrial Building

Four fire appliances from Bodmin, St Austell, St Dennis and Lostwithiel, along with an Aerial Ladder Platform from Newquay and Incident Command Unit from Launceston, attended a fire on the first floor of a four-storey industrial building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and checked the smoke logged building for any fire spread.
At 1730hrs, it was confirmed that the fire had been confined to one room and had not spread any further.
The last of the fire crews left the scene at 1800hrs.
