One fire appliance from Bodmin and one fire appliance from Launceston attended a car that was well alight on the eastbound carriageway of the A30. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire. Police closed the A30 in both directions for a time to allow the firefighters to work safely.
