Fast-food Outlet Destroyed By Fire

One fire appliance from Newquay Community Fire Station and one fire appliance from Perranporth Community Fire Station attended following reports of a fire. The fire crews were confronted with a fire involving a fast-food outlet trailer. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one jet and one hosereel jet to knock down the fire, which also involved cylinders. The fire was fully extinguished by 0400hrs and the fire crews remained at the scene damping down until 0420hrs. Arson is suspected and Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
