Grain Silo Fire

Our Critical Control Centre were notified of a grain dryer on fire this morning. Appliances from Perranporth and Tolvaddon were mobilized with support from the Aerial Ladder Platform from Truro.

Crews are monitoring the temperature of the grain silo. The fire is believed to be out.

Crews have gained entry to the dryer and are decanting grain.

Good progress is being made - crews are monitoring hotspots.
