At 10:44am crews from Wadebridge, Bodmin, Bude, St Austell and Falmouth were mobilized to assist HM Coastguard with a rescue in mud.

The casualty became stuck up to his knees in the mud approx. 10 yards from hard ground. The crews from Wadebridge and Bodmin used an inflatable mud rescue path, throw lines and a shovel to extricate the person.

At 11:49am our crew from Wadebridge confirmed the male had been rescued and was safely back on hard ground.
