At 03:44 Critical Control received a 999 call reporting an Automatic Fire Alarm actuating at a hotel. Initially one crew from Tresco were mobilised to the incident. Upon leaving the Fire Station crews reported a smell of smoke in the area, and crews from St Marys and Bryher were immediately mobilised and the incident upgraded to Fire - Residential. South Western Ambulance Service and Devon and Cornwall Police were also notified. On arrival crews located an oven which had been left on and overheated. Crews checked the building and allowed residents to return.
