Two appliances and an officer from Falmouth were called to a report of a property fire at 20:30 this evening. However, on arrival the first attending crew confirmed that the flames were caused by a small quantity of rubbish outside the property which was alight.
Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the flames and requested the attendance of The Ambulance for a male who had suffered some burns.
The fire is believed to be accidental.
