On receiving this call from West Country Ambulance stating that a car was in the river with persons trapped, Fire Control mobilised appliances from Helston and Falmouth, also the rescue tender from Camborne and the Operational Support Unit from Falmouth to the incident, the co-responders from Helston also attended. Fortunately on arrival at the incident there was found to be one vehicle involved and the occupant had been released prior to the Brigade's arrival. West Country Ambulance and Devon & Cornwall Police were also in attendance. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
