One appliance from Newquay Fire Station and one from St Dennis Fire Station along with the Water Carrier from Wadebridge Fire Station attended this incident.
It involved several large round bales of hay. There was a risk of the fire spreading towards other barn and more bales, the crew worked with the farmer using farm machinery to turn over the bales and extinguish the fire using two hosereels and setting up a water shuttle.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
