Two appliances from Penzance were alerted to this address, on arrival crews found smoke issuing from the first floor of a detached two storey cottage, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels and a jet to extinguish the fire, firefighters rescued a dog from the property, the positive pressure fan was used when the fire was extinguished to ventilate the property.
