Crews from Delabole were mobilised on receipt of this call, on arrival there was found to be a fire in the kitchen of a terraced cottage, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed with a hosereel to extinguish the fire, they also rescued a dog and cat from the premises and reunited them with their owners. The positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the property, crews were detained a considerable time at the incident, cutting away and checking the area, with the last crew returning at approximately 0345 hours. The cause of the fire was believed electrical.
