Crews from Penzance and St. Just were mobilised to this incident, on arrival there was found to be a fire in a three storey dwelling, which was well alight, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed at the scene, the fire then proceeded to involve adjacent properties, crews used ladders to gain access to the properties also hosereels and jets to extinguish the fire, crews remained on scene for a considerable time damping down, the last appliance returned to station at approximately 0500 hours. Later in the morning an appliance from Penzance reinspected the site and found some hot spots which were extinguished using a hosereel. Fire Investigation Officers attended the scene.
