Electrical Box Fire

Beginning at 20:34, the Critical Control Centre received a total of 15 emergency calls to reports of an electrical box on fire on Bank Street, St Columb.
In total, 3 major appliances were mobilised from St Columb, St Dennis and Newquay along with a 4 x 4 appliance and a whole time officer for support.
On arrival, crews confirmed there was an electrical box on fire and used C02 extinguishers to fight the fire. The fire has now been extinguished and crews are standing by with C02 extinguishers while Western Power investigate.
One major appliance and a 4 x 4, both from St Columb, remain on scene at this time.
