Critical Control received a 999 call reporting a smell of smoke coming from a flat with a person believed in bed inside. The incident was made Persons Reported. Two appliances from St Austell Community Fire Station and one from Bodmin Community Fire Station were mobilised along with a Flexi Duty Officer. The Police and Ambulance Service were also requested to attend.
On arrival crews found that a small fire in a bin in the property was out on arrival and that all persons were accounted for.
