At 1238hrs, a request was received from Police to search a car that had been found partly submerged in a river. It was unknown if anyone was inside the vehicle. Firefighters from Launceston and Callington along with specialist water rescue teams from Bude and St Austell attended and three officers. It was established from a local resident that the vehicle had been in the water since Saturday. Water rescue technicians entered the river to confirm that there was no-one inside. The incident has been left for the owner of the vehicle to arrange recovery.
