The fire is now confirmed out and all appliances have left the scene. A fire investigation is being undertaken to ascertain the cause of the fire. No further updates are available.


At 10:08, the Critical Control Centre received a total of 5 emergency calls informing them of a fire at a residential dwelling at Penware Parc, Camborne.
Initially, two appliances from Tolvaddon were mobilised, along with a whole time officer for support.

On arrival at the scene, an appliance from Tolvaddon reported the building as ‘well alight’ and requested a further appliance be mobilised. Following this, an appliance from Truro was mobilised.

Shortly after, further assistance was requested and an appliance from Penzance was mobilised.

In total, there are currently four appliances, an Incident Command Vehicle from St Just, an Operational Support Vehicle from Falmouth, a support vehicle from Tolvaddon and several whole time officers in attendance at the address.

The building is a single storey detached domestic dwelling measuring 15 metres by 8 metres. Breathing apparatus is in use and 2 main jets and 1 covering jet are being used to extinguish the fire.

Ambulance has attended and Police are now in attendance.
