Critical Control received a 999 emergency call to a property fire where persons were reported as still in the property.

A fire appliance from Helston and two appliances from Tolvaddon Community Fire Stations, supported with a Wholetime Officer were mobilised to the incident.

On arrival they found the property was smoked logged. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a safety jet rescued one casualty from the property.

The casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service.
