One appliance from Perranporth Community Fire Station and one from Newquay Community Fire Station and a Flexi Duty Officer attended this incident.
The caller stated her washing machine was smoking and there was smoke in the property.
On arrival the crew found the fire to be out they confirmed this using a thermal image camera. The crew also fitted new smoke alarm in the property.
