Carbon Monoxide Incident

At 18:32 Critical Control received a 999 call to a property where there was suspected carbon monoxide present. One appliance from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station were mobilised. On arrival crews found the property had already been ventilated by the occupant after pre-arrival safety advice from Critical Control Centre Firefighters.

Due to the risk of exposure to carbon monoxide crews requested an ambulance to assess the occupant.

Crews took measurements of the levels of carbon monoxide in the property and gave safety advice before leaving the occupier in the care of the ambulance service.
