At 19:06 Critical Control received a 999 call from an occupier reporting a chimney fire at their property. One appliance from Delabole Community Fire Station was mobilised to the incident. Prior to arrival of crews, the caller was given pre-arrival safety advice.

On arrival crews confirmed there was a fire in the chimney of a wood burner. Crews used a stirrup pump and chimney rods to extinguish the fire.
