Flooding - Major Incident

Critical Control received the first 999 call at 10:33 reporting flooding in the Copperhouse area of Hayle. Initially one appliance from Hayle Community Fire Station was mobilised along with a Wholetime Officer. Following this there were multiple 999 calls to the incident.

11:10 UPDATE: Make Pumps 4 to assist with pumping out and scene management.

11:37 UPDATE: Police have declared a Major Incident and confirm there is no life risk from flooding.

During the incident four appliances were utilised for pumping and scene management, with two Wholetime Officers taking operational command on scene, one Wholetime Officer supporting in Critical Control, and the Chief Fire Officer and Assistant Chief Fire Officer taking command of the incident at the Tactical Coordination Group at Truro.
