At 08:53 Critical Control received a 999 call reporting smoke issuing from a large manor house. Three appliances were mobilised from Fowey, Lostwithiel and Bodmin Community Fire Stations.
** UPDATE** 1600 hrs The incident has now been scaled down to 6 major pumping appliances on the scene.
2200 hrs
** UPDATE ** The incident has been scaled down even further with 2 major pumping appliances in attendance overnight to monitor hotspots.

09:08 Assistance Message: Make Pumps 6 Water Carrier 1.

09:24 Fire in three-story 18th Century Manor House. 2 Hose Reels, 1 Safety Jet and 1 Covering Jet in use.

09:59 Assistance Message: Make Pumps 10. All Breathing Apparatus crews withdrawn due to risk to firefighters.

10:07 Ambulance Incident Commander now on scene.

10:17 Chief Fire Officer informed.

10:31 Environment Agency informed and Environmental Risk Assessment being completed. Water being supplied from an open water source, light portable pump in use.

11:21 Fire in three-story detached manor house. Fire in first floor and second floor roof space. 4 Breathing Apparatus, 5 main jets, 3 light portable pumps, 1 135 ladder and 3 triple extension ladders in use. Police, Ambulance, Western Power Distribution and Cornwall Council Emergency Management also in attendance.
