Have you or your husband, wife, or partner ever served within the British Fire Service from War time onwards? This includes:
• National Fire Service
• Auxiliary Fire Service
• Fire Control
• Support Staff
• Wholetime or Retained Fire-fighter
• and latterly, Works Fire Brigades
OR are you the widow or widower of any of the above?
If so the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund would like to hear from you.
The Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, as it is now known, is an organisation which was established to assist serving and former members of the Fire Service and their immediate dependents. It offers financial support, rest, recuperation and therapy at one of its three Centres.
The Fund is also able to provide advice in areas of
• State Benefits
• Health/Social Care
• Finance/Debt
• Relationships/Family
• Housing
• Employment
