Persons Reported Residential Fire

At 15:33 the Critical Control Centre received an emergency call informing them of a residential fire with a person still believed to be inside.
Crews from Truro, Tolvaddon and Falmouth were immediately mobilised, as well as two whole time officers for support.
On arrival, crews confirmed someone was inside and removed them from the building. Once in a safe area, the person received medical attention from South Western Ambulance Service.
The flat of two storeys measuring 5 metres by 5 metres had a fire in the kitchen involving a microwave. Crews used a hosereel jet to put the fire out and police also attended.
