Critical Control received two 999 calls reporting a fire behind a supermarket near Grosvenor Avenue. One appliance from Newquay Community Fire Station was mobilised. On scene crews found small fire in an alley way and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. On investigation it appears that it was rubbish which was set on fire.
