Critical Control received a 999 call from a person stating there was a fire in their property. Three appliances were mobilised from St Columb, St Dennis and Newquay Community Fire Stations, along with two Flexi-Duty Group Managers.

On arrival crews found that the fire had been caused by candle wax and was out on arrival.
