Two appliances from Bude with twelve firefighters on board attended a call to a caravan on fire. The caravan was well alight on crews arrival and all cylinders inside had blown. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a triple extension ladder to fight the fire. The fire had spread from the caravan which measured 4 x 4 metres to an area of woodland measuring approximately 6 metres square. Firefighters made good progress and removed the cylinders from the fire. On investigation the cause of the fire was confirmed as accidental.
