At 0336 Critical Control were informed of a fire in the first floor of a flat.
Two pumps from Newquay and Perranporth Community Fire Stations attended the incident.
UPDATE 03:48: Make Pumps 3
On arrival crews found smoke issuing from and requested a third pump, which was mobilised from St Columb Community Fire Station.
The crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 thermal imaging camera.
South Western Ambulance Service and Devon & Cornwall Police were also in attendance.
The fire was extinguished and the crews then used a positive pressure ventilation fan (PPV) to ventilate the property.
