Critical Control mobilised an appliance from Truro Community Fire Station and the Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station after the ambulance service requested assistance at a three vehicle road traffic collision involving a van and two cars, with a person trapped in the van. A Flexi-Duty Station Manager was also mobilised to take charge of the scene.

On arrival crews used crash rescue equipment (CRE) to access the vehicle and the casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service. Crews assisted police with scene safety before returning to home stations.
