At 13:41 Critical Control received an emergency call from Devon and Cornwall Police requesting fire service attendance at what was believed to be a serious road traffic collision with two vehicles. Two appliances, one each from St Columb and Padstow Community Fire Stations, and the Rescue Tender from Bodmin Community Fire Station, as well as a Flexi-Duty Station Manager.

Road closures will remain in place for several hours and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
