At 19:10 Critical Control received an emergency call reporting a small electrical fire in a plug socket at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro. Two appliances from Truro Community Fire Station were immediately mobilised and our on-call crews were on scene in less than five minutes of the call.

Crews found that electrical arcing had caused a small fire when a plug had been removed from the socket. Crews confirmed there was no fire. An electrical engineer was called and crews handed over to them before returning to home station.
