Fire / Person Struck By Lightening

Critical Control received a 999 call reporting a person struck by lightening. One appliance from Truro, one appliance from Newquay and a Flexi-Duty Group Manager were sent to the scene. On arrival crews found lightening had struck a BT junction box and one casualty had suffered minor injuries in the process. Crews made the scene safe and the casualty was taken to hospital by paramedics.
