One appliance from St. Austell and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised after report of this incident. On arrival crews found a two vehicle incident, with one vehicle off the road and a person trapped, Brigade personnel stabilised the vehicle using the appliances winch and then proceeded to use crash rescue equipment to release the casualty, who was then taken into the care of waiting West Country Ambulance personnel. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police who were in attendance.
