Gorse Fire

Crews from St. Columb and St. Dennis were mobilised to this incident. On arrival crews found a large area of gorse alight, which was extinguished using hosereels and beaters. The main A30 was closed for a time due to smoke covering the carriageway and giving poor visibility. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police and The Arson Task Force are aware and dealing.
