Critical Control received a 999 call reporting a horse trapped in a metal gate. As it was potentially life-threatening an appliance from Liskeard Community Fire Station was immediately mobilised, followed by the Rescue Tender from Bodmin Community Fire Station.
On scene crews used crash rescue equipment to cut away gate and release the horse. The incident was then handed over to a vet.
