At 15:49 two appliances from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station and a Flexi-Duty Group Manager were mobilised to reports of a fire in a residential property. On arrival crews found a kitchen fire in a two story mid-terrace property. Crews wearing breathing apparatus entered the property to extinguish the fire while firefighters outside worked to isolate the gas and electricity supply. Once the fire was extinguished crews used positive pressure ventilation to assist with clearing smoke from the property.
