At 1453 Critical Control received a call to gorse fire in the area of Newmill.
4 Major appliances from Penzance, St Just, St Ives and Hayle community fire stations attended the incident and it was monitored by crews throughout the night.
Good progress has been made and it will be monitored until crews are satisfied it is extinguished.
