Two appliances from Tolvaddon and one from Hayle responded to a confirmed fire in a residential care home.
The first attending crew confirmed there was a fire within a bedroom and proceeded to extinguish the fire using breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a covering jet.
Crews confirmed the fire was out by 07:45.
One casualty was treated by firefighters and paramedics for smoke inhalation.
