Critical Control received several calls to smoke issuing for this area. Crews from Bodmin Community Fire Station were mobilised to the incident with a crew of 4 to investigate along with GPV with a crew of 2.
Crews set about extinguishing the fire using beaters.

@ 13.07 assistance message for 6 more personnel was requested. Two Crews from Launceston Community Fire Station were mobilised to assist.

@14.35 assistance message for 8 further personnel was requested to assist.
Callington and the on-call crew at Bodmin Community fire Station were mobilised.

A total of 22 firefighters were in attendance using beaters and monitoring hot spots in the area.

@ 16.26 The fire was declared out and crews were making up.
