At 21:52 Critical Control received an emergency call from Police stating a tractor had collided with an electricity pole, and the driver was trapped inside with an electricity cable lying across the vehicle. Two appliances from Liskeard Community Fire Station were immediately mobilised along with the Rescue Tender from Bodmin Community Fire Station. A Wholetime Station Manager was also mobilised as an Incident Commander. Ambulance were requested by Critical Control along with Western Power Distribution.

Upon arrival crews had to proceed on foot to locate the incident. On arrival crews confirmed one casualty trapped in a tractor by a live electricity cable carrying around 11,000 volts. Upon arrival of Western Power Distribution it was confirmed the power supply had been cut and that it was safe to move the casualty.

They were released from the tractor and thankfully had no injuries.
