On receipt of this call, appliances from Tolvaddon and Hayle were mobilised, on arrival the crew found that an external fire had spread and involved a bungalow, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel to extinguish the fire. One person was treated at the scene by fire personnel for the effects of smoke and slight burns and was then taken into the care of attending ambulance crew. Crews remain on scene cutting away and ventilating the property.
