At 16:38, Critical Control received an emergency call reporting a fire involving a barn which contained machinery and a diesel tank.
One major pump and L4P from Helston, one major pump from Falmouth and two wholetime officers were initially sent to investigate.
On arrival, the Incident Commander requested two additional major pumps to attend. These came from Tolvaddon and Falmouth.
The barn, measuring 30 x 50 metres, was fought using breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and a safety jet.
Two appliances and two wholetime officers will remain on scene for 30 minutes making up equipment and completing a hot debrief.
