Firefighters from Liskeard, Lostwithiel, Looe, Bodmin, Polruan and Launceston with six pumps, a water carrier and a command unit are tackling a blaze involving a barn, measuring 20 metres by 8 metres.

The barn is well alight and there are hay bales nearby. Firefighting is being hampered by live cables from solar panels. Firefighters are using hosereel jets to protect the hay bales and preventing them becoming involved.

10:17 - Western Power arrived on scene and isolated the electricity. Firefighters are using two main jets and 4 breathing apparatus.


10:51 - Breathing Apparatus now withdrawn and crew remain on scene monitoring.
